MICLUVIN NEEDS OUR HELP!
He has been feeling very lonely lately after such a long, cold winter and needs to be reminded just how important he is to all of us! What we are hoping to do for him, with your help, is to show him just how important he is to us all. To successfully do this we are asking you to take the time to send us a picture of how you enjoy Freddy and his friends. It can be a camping trip, family get together, or just hanging out in your own back yard. We are looking for the picture that shows Freddy MicLuvin he is a very important part of our summer get-togethers. We are going to collect your pictures from July 19- Aug 31st, 2010. During this time we will be posting your pictures on our website and asking people to select their favorite picture of Freddy MIC’Luvin and the picture that gets the most votes will win a special gift from Freddy!

FROZEN FRESH
Confederation Cove is now offering their customers the same great quality and taste they have come to expect, but we have expanded the line to include Frozen Au Natural and Flavors. We take pride in knowing we offer “SIMPLY THE BEST” fresh mussels and have not sacrificed any of this in preparing our new line of frozen. We know that in today’s society cooking is one of those things that gets left at the way side. Today’s consumer wants to know they are receiving properly proportioned meals with the simplicity of our product. We have offered our great fresh line to you for years and will continue to do so but we have also been listening to the needs of our customers and want them to know that we are always there for all of their mussel needs as well. We can make anyone look like a chef with the prep time of our frozen product. To Boil in Bag, simply place bag of frozen mussels into rapidly boiling water, and once it returns to a boil cook for 7-10 minutes. If you are a microwave enthusiast, simply puncture holes into the frozen bag, and cook on high for 5-6 minutes. Now the most important step to preparing chef quality mussels in your own kitchen is to hide the evidence! Make sure no one sees the empty bag and then sit back and enjoy the compliments you receive for the mussel dish you have just brought to the table.
